    Symmetries of cube

Describe the symmetries of the cube of order 2,3 and 4.

I don't have a clue what this question means.

Do you mean a group of rigid motions of a cube?
If so, the group has elements of order 1,2,3 and 4.

Order 1: Identity map (No rigid motion)
Order 2: rotation round edge centered axis (link)
Order 3: rotation round corner centered axis (120-degree vertex rotations)
    Order 4: 90-degree face rotations
