    Question Matrix Notation Question

    Can anyone explain this notation to me:



    This is a least squares problem, where all variables are matrices. The parentheses notation is throwing me off. Can anyone explain what that means? Thanks!

    Couldn't possibly be the binomial coefficient could it o.0?
