I need some help checking my problem please help me.
Solve by graphing. If the solutions are not exact, estimate the answers by indicating the consecutive integers between which the roots are located.
x^2+6x-2=0
answer:
x= 0.316625 and x= 6.31662

I am not exactly sure how you are supposed to do this, but I have an idea. You can separate the function x^2+6x-2 into the difference of 2 functions, so say that (x^2) - (-6x+2) = 0. You can easily graph x^2 by hand, as you can -6x+2. Since the difference of those 2 functions is zero, just plot them both on the same graph and see where they are equal (where they intersect). You should then be able to estimate the x values, or at least say what integers they lie between.
