    Irreducible components

    Find the irreducible components of this algebraic sets:

    a) \mathcal{V}(Y^2- XY - X^2Y+X^3) \subset \mathbb{C}^2

    b) \mathcal{V}(Y^2- X(X^2 - 1) ) \subset \mathbb{C}^2


    c) \mathcal{V}(Y^4- X^2, Y^4 - X^2Y^2+XY^2 -X^3) \subset \mathbb{C}^2
