Determine the slope and y-intercept of the graph: 3x + y = 8. I need help to solve this problem

put the problem in slope intercept form (y = mx + b) with m being the slope and b being the y intercept. 3x + y = 8 y = -3x + 8 y = mx + b so m = ? and b = ?

My answer is 8. Am I correct?
yes for the y-intercept, what about the slope?
The slope is 0. Thank you for the help.
Actually rhe slope is -3. y = mx + b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept. so, y = (-3)x + 8 y = (m )x + b
