Transformation Matrices

This question is impossible, plz help.
Transform the square ABCD with vertices A(0,0), B(1,0), C(1,1) and D(0,1) under the linear transformation L= [1 2] . Graph the original and the image.
[-1 1] The [-1 1] is in the same box as the [1 2], like a 2x2 matrix.

A linear transformation is a matrix is a linear transformation. Take your vertices as vectors in the plane and multiply them on the left by the transformation matrix to see where the map takes them.
