Il be honest, im a bit lost with this one, Ive started a basic maths module at college, and Im going through some examples in the back of my book...
- two types of pumps ar made, 500w and 750w. the factory has 1200 labour hrs in machining department, 100 labour hrs for motor winding, 500 labour hrs in assembly and 250hrs in packaging.
Factory needs the following labour (labour hrs) in the following:
500w pump -- machining 0.2 | winding 0.2 | assembly 0.3 | packaging 0.1
750w pump -- machining 0.4 | winding 0.5 | assembly 0.1 | packaging 0.1
500w = £80, 750w = £100, (x) an (y) being the no. units made respecively.
a) expression of revenue obtained from sales
b) Give all relavent constraints, and how they're derived.
Any help going through this would be appreciated greately. Thanks.
