    a) Prove that if A, B, and C are linear transformations on atwo dimensional vector space, then
    (AB -BA )^2 commutes with C
    b) Is the conclution of (a) true for higher dimensional spaces.

    How are the symbols AB BA2 commutes with C defined? Or what does they each mean?
