    Vector Space

    Infinite dimensional vector spce C[0,1], with a stardard integral inner product. Find an orthogonal basisfor subspace S of C[0,1] spanned by the set {1+x,1-x,pi^2 cox(pi*x)}

    Can anyone please please help with this or give me some idea of how to start please?

    Thanks
