    Linear Algebra - rank, nullity, basis, row, null

    Hey guys, I'm after some help on this problem.

    What have you tried?

    The null space of A is all vectors x with Ax = 0, can you solve this system of equations?

    The rank of A can be found by row-reduction. The number of non-zero rows after you are in rref is the rank.

    Rank + nullity = 3, in this case. If you've found the rank, you've found the nullity.
