# Math Help - Quadratic Function Question

For the function f(x) = -3x² + 24x - 46

a. Express the quadratic function in standard form.
b. Label the coordinates of the vertex.
c. Find the maximum or minimum value.
d. Find the x and y-intercepts.
e. Find the domain and range.

For (a), I got: -3(x - 4)² + 2
For (b), I got: (4, 2)
For (c), I got: Maximum value of 2.
For (d), I got: x-int: 4 +/- √2/3 , y-int: -46.
For (e), I got: Domain = (-∞, ∞) , Range = (-∞, 2]

I'm not sure if these are right so can someone confirm?

I'm going off Wikipedia for definitions, so if that is wrong then please inform us.

Standard form is y = -3x^2 + 24x - 46
Vertex point is (4,2)
Maximum point is y = 2 given x = 4.
For d I got the same (as long as its SQRT(2/3) and not sqrt(2)/3) and y-int is -46.
Same as you for e.
