matrix and differential eqn-help!
I am finding hard to understand this question logicallly. Please help.
I know its in minus out ..but im not getting it.
Two tanks, each containing 200 litres of a mixture, are connected as shown in
Fresh water is pumped into tank A at a rate of 15 L/min. Further, the mixture is
pumped from tank A to tank B at a rate of 20 L/min, and from tank B to tank A at 5 L/min.
Water then flows out of tank B at the rate of 15L/min. Suppose that initially tank A contains 60
grams of salt while tank B contains pure water
Find a system of differential equations modelling the situation.(obviously later i have to put it into a matrix)

Hint: Think about the individual changes. As an example if water is being pumped into tank A at 15L/min then dVwater_a/dt = 15 for this component.
Now try and get all the components together in a system for water and also for salt and have the total volume be the volume of water plus the volume for salt.
In other words, handle salt and water separately and then combine them later if need be.
