How to write the quadratic function in standard form
Write the quadratic function in standard form. Identify the vertex.

y = f(x) = -(x^2 + 4x - 2)

Considering f(x) as ax^2+bx+c=0, a<0, D>0, so graph is downward parabola.

a= -1
b=-4
c=2

vertex is at (-2,6)(Happy)
