Thread: Though Question Linear Transformation R^3 P2

Hi I have been looking at this though Question for a while and got no where till i just gave up and just thinkign it probably cannot be determined

I was thinking its not valid because in the information its all represented in terms of x, I don't see anything in terms of the y and z, or I am thinking of this wrong

hint: (0,-5,0) = -5(1,1,-1) + 5(1,0,-1)

so the answer is just

=-5 T(1,1,-1)+5 T(1,0,-1)
=-5x+5(x^2+7X-1)
=5x^2+30x-5
