I only have one problem and have no idea where to start. Below is the problem:
Suppose |G| = 1575. If G has a normal 3 - SSG, show G is abelian.
Anything will do.
Thanx.
as a moderator here once remarked, the "H" in MHF is for "help" not "homework". if you want to understand math better, we're all about that. if you want us to do your homework, that's not cool.
personally, i feel that "knowledge should be free", but it's a fine line between assimilating advice, and plagiarism. also, it's in the forum rules (it does pay to read those every once in a while).
look, first of all it was not hw, it was a take home quiz question, the quiz had five questions (5 proofs). i solved the first four on my own w/ no problem at all, the only one i had trouble w/ was the last one, which i posted above. i mean, come on, i solved 80% of my quiz on my own, which were graduate questions. all i asked was help on just one question, that was all, please, no criticism
Whatever then. U contributors did not help at all, the newbie, johng did. His was pretty good. U say work smart, not hard, but come on, really?! In this case, all u had to do was put your little rules aside and help me w/ just one question, which was all I was asking for, u nerds are just afraid of getting into trouble. I don't even know why I came to this website for help, I now guess it was just pointless. Whatever nerds
