The book is right.
The expansion of the determinant of a 2x2 matrix with structure [a, b; c, d] (as represented in Octave) gives a result of a*d - b*c for the determinant.
Try using the formula to expand the result.
But wtf im kinda confused... Ik the rule work so but look at the rule we did get.. Goosh this got confused
