    value of ( p+ q )r

    If x^4 + 4x^3 + 6px^2 + 4qx + r is divisible by x^3 + 3x^2 + 9x + 3, the value of (p + q) r is?

    anybody help me on this?..

    From the given information we know:

    x^4+4x^3+6px^2+4qx+r=\left(x^3 + 3x^2 + 9x + 3\right)\left(x+\frac{r}{3}\right)

    Expand the right side, then equate coefficients.
