    dense subsets

    in C[a,b], any dense subset is possible other then set of polynomials.

    Yes, the algebra generated by \mathcal{F}=\{e^{nx}:n\in\mathbb{Z}\} contains the constant functions and separate points. Now, use the Stone-Weierstrass theorem.
