if u= $3x^2y$ then

whether it is a harmonic function for all values of x and y.

The function will be harmonic if $\displaystyle \begin{align*} \frac{\partial ^2 u}{\partial x^2}+\frac{\partial ^2 u}{\partial y^2} = 0 \end{align*}$ .
