Converting to and from polar form?
Hi, I am having some trouble figuring this out on my own. What I'm trying to do is simplify and convert (22+33i)-(18+45i) Assuming I simplified this correctly, could someone show me how to convert 40-78i to polar form?

$\begin{array}{l}
\left( {22 + 33i} \right) - \left( {18 + 45i} \right) = 4 - 12i \\
4 - 12i = \left( {\sqrt {4^2 + 12^2 } } \right)cis\left( {\arctan \left( {\frac{{ - 12}}{4}} \right)} \right) \\
\end{array}
