Find by projection the point on the line $x=(2,1,0)+t(-1,2,2)$ that is closest to the point $(0,2,2)$ and use perp to find the distance from the point to the line

So I am supposed to project the point $(0,2,2)$ to the line $x$? If so, how do I go about doing so?

Find the plane $\pi$ containing to $(0,2,2)$ and perpendicular to the the given line $l$ . The solution is $\pi \cap l$ .
