I'm suppose to solve the following using the Gaussian elimination or the Gauss-Jordan elimination method:
x - 2y + z = 8
y + 2z = -1
x + y +3z = 1
However, I always end up not getting the right answer for some reason. Can anyone show me step by step how to do this by Gaussian elimination or the Gauss-Jordan elimination method?
