    eignenvalue/trace

    if a\in R n*n s.t. a^2=I

    find all possible values of an eigenvalue \lambdaof a (without using characteristic polynomial)

    show tr(a)=n \Rightarrowa=I

    any suggestions, im really stuck anything would help
