    equivalence relations

Can anybody help me prove or point me in the right direction of this equivalence relation.

slim triangle - thin triangle - dehn presentation - isoperimetric function

Is it enough to just follow the definitions of each?

Because I do not know what any of those are about, I cannot give guidance there.
However, given any relation it can be tested for being reflexive, symmetric and/or transitive. If all three hold then the relation is an equivalence relation.
