Resolving a vector into the sum of two other vectors (using dot products)

Hi, I'm having trouble with a linear algebra question and would really appreciate some help.

resolve the vector u = 5i + j + 6k into a sum of two vectors, one of which is parallel to and the other perpendicular to v = 3i - 6j + 2k
