    homomorphism

    Please help me with my assignment about homomorphism.

    Let N ba a normal subgroup of a group G. Show that the mapping F:G→G/N defined by
    f(g) = gN is a homomorphism.

    Did you try to verify that f satisfies the properties of a homomorphism? Did you run into trouble?
