Math Help - hi :)

1. hi :)

hi,i am new here,i am a 14 year-old kid,i am entirely attracted by math,i always read math books online, but i got many problems since i dont really know many symbols' meaning, can anyone introduce a place where i can learn more about math symbols?
thx

2. I do not think you can really learn what these symbols mean by reading about them. I think the best way to learn about these symbols is that study the branch of math which uses them.
Here are some:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathematical_symbols

Caution, eventhough this website explains these symbols it does not mean you will understand them all. Because just like I said the best (perhaps only) way to learn about these symbols is to study the branch of math which uses them.

3. Well, depending on the symbol you might be able to pick it up easily. If you see something like this, $x^2$, that notation is easy to learn. However if you run into one of these, $\int$ it's gonna take some time.

4. thx for the link
i have studied it,but i cant be able to understand all of them
but i will just go on my studying, thx a lot

i am studying an algebra book these days,it ends with precalculus algebra, what do u guys recommend me to study after the book?
