    Finding Determinant

    Hello,

    can someone please help me figure this out?

    how do you find the determinant for

    det(3A) given that det(A)=7

    You would have to know the size of A.

    \det (kA) = k^n \det (A)

    where A is an n \times n matrix and k is a constant
