    field question

    Assume K is a field where C does not equal 0 and C+C=0 then show that 1+1=0 within this field

    Hmm I'll mark this for the mods to move to the Linear and Abstract Algebra subforum.

    Note that C+C = C(1+1). Also, note that C has a multiplicative inverse.
