Why would you think it has a common name?

First check \det{A} to see if a solution exists.

If it exists, then premultiply both sides by A^{-1} to give

    A^{-1}A\mathbf{x} = A^{-1}B

    I\mathbf{x} = A^{-1}B

    \mathbf{x} = A^{-1}B.
