Thread: Hill Cipher, how did they do it ?

I'm trying to study cryptography and by following wikipedia article on hill cipher, I'm finding hard to understand how they did the decryption. Hill cipher - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My inverse matrix mod 26 is 8 5 10 | 21 8 12 | 21 5 18, while on wiki er have 8 5 10 | 21 8 21 | 21 12 8 | mod 26.

I dont know how this result was achieved, is there any help on this ?
