    diagonalization

for which value of t would the 2x2 matrix
    (0 t
    0 0 )
    be diagonalizable?

i thought for it to be diagonalizable, the matrix has to be invertible and hence in this case, for whatever values of t, it wont be diagonalizable?

In the pdf file, you will find singular matrices that are diagonalizable.
