    [SOLVED] Very quick Q about diagonalization

    if P^-1MP = diagonal matrix D

    then how do I find what M^n is?

    is it PD^nP^-1 = M^n?

    M^n=PD^nP^{-1} where p is the matrix of the corresponding eigenvectors.
