Without some kind of restrictions on the kind of function, there are an infinite number of different answers to this.
I apologize if I have this posted in the wrong section of the forum.
I need assistance in solving multiple simultaneous equations. I don't mind doing the hard work, I just need to be pointed in the right direction. Right now I don't have a clue how to solve this. I am a biologist and still have a lot to learn in maths.
Here is the problem:

I have a relationship between X and Y, but I know that along certain points on that curve there are the values A.
So what I need to find is the equation which relates X and Y to equal A.
But I don't know where to start. I know this isn't a linear equation, and after that I'm stuck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
