    Find the equation

    Find the equation of the line whose distance to point P (-3, 5) is 4.

    Dear Dogod11,

    There are infinitely many lines whose distance to point P is 4. Consider the circle which has the center P(-3,5) and a radius of 4 ,then any line drawn tangent to this circle would have a distance 4 from P.
