    [SOLVED] What is Cramer's rule?

I am looking at a exercise sheet and I am asked to solve a system using cramer's rule. The teacher did not teach us this and I don't understand my textbook that well.

    Here is the system

    x + y = 1
    y + z = 2
    x + 2z = -1
