# Thread: Parametic representation for the curve

1. ## Parametic representation for the curve

Guys how can l find the parametic representation for the curve :

$x^2+y+z=2$ and $xy+z$

I tried to make z=t and solve simultaneous equations but that route did not take me anywhere.

2. I'm thinking you'll have to provide the entire problem statement.

Actually this is the entire problem statement. They just want me to find the parametric representation

Then the problem statement is incomplete. Nothing can be done with what you have posted because it is incomplete.

5. In particular, you have one equation and the expression "xy+z" not equal to anything. I think you have two equations representing surfaces and want parametric equations for the curve where they intersect- but you did not actually say that and one of the equations is incomplete.
