I have some university work, which i have completed but my understanding of the work is not as good as i would like it to be. Basically I was given the 4 components of a state space system; the A,B,C,D matrices. I was asked to find the controllable canonical form and the observable canonical form.
I was then asked to find the eigenvalues of the A matrix, the CCF matrix and OCF matrix. All three matrices produced the same eigenvalues.
I know this is, because they are linked in some way, but I don't exactly why they produce the same eigenvalues even though the matrices are different.
If someone could help with this it would be greatly appreciated
