Thread: determin the symmetry group

Hello,
I need help with this:
for each design below determin the symmetry group?

I have the answer for the second row which is: D4, Z3, D3, D16
but not sure about other.

How are you defining symmetry group?

Hello,
By knowing how many rotation and flip the design has.
Like first one from the second row we can rotate it 2 times and also flip it 2 times so it’s D4
The second one we can only rotate it 3 times but we can’t flip it so it’s Z3

First row from left to right: Z4, D16, D3, Z1. But also not sure.
