ok, so i have to use induction to prove that if A sub 1,....,A sub n are upper triangular matrices of the same size, then A sub i is also upper triangular.

i'm not sure how to prove this so any help would be appreciated. it seems like one of those extremely obvious problems, but i'm kinda confused.
