    Question analysis of proof

    Give an analysis of proof. Let V be a vector space and let U1, U2 be subspaces of V. Prove that U1 n U2 is a subspace of V.

    Where U1 n U2 = {v e V: v e U1 & v e U2}

    You mean "give a proof" since you didn't give a proof for us to analyse!

    But what have you done on this? Don't you have any ideas on how to start? You want to show that a certain set is a subspace. What are the requirements for a subspace?
