Math Help - What does V = C([0,1]) mean?

    What does V = C([0,1]) mean?

    If V is a vector space, what does C([0,1]) mean? I am aware that [0,1] is the compact set on the real line between 0 and 1, but what about the C(.)?

    It usually means the space of all continuous functions on that interval.
