    Question involving dimW + dimWPerp = dimV

    Let A, B be two linearly independent vectors in Rn. What is the dimension of the space perpendicular to both A and B.

    I said, because you have two linearly independent vectors in Rn, they form a two dimensional subspace of Rn, call it W. So we want to find the dimension of Wperp. By the formula we have n-2.
