# matrix of a linear transformation

matrix of a linear transformation
Find the matrix of this linear transformation T with respect to the given basis.

T(f(t)) = f(3) from P2 to P2, with respect to the basis B = (1, t-3, (t-3)^2).

My answer (with ; denoting a new row) is [1 0 0 ; 0 0 0 ; 0 0 0]. Is this right?

Not sure I understand this correctly - but T(f(t)) = f(3) doesn't appear to be a linear transformation. For e.g. what is T(0)?

I am be wrong here please - but would you mind checking?
