    Exclamation Augmented Matricies Problem

    Can someone help me with this augmented matries question please ?

    Solve the equation (using augmented matrix)

    2x-3y+z=9
    4x-6y+kz=m

    youll need to use elementary row operations

    first id suggest switching rows 1 and 2, then multiplying the first row by the appropriate scalar as to cancle everything possible in row 2 (in this case -2) and then add row 1 to row 2, resulting in a row looking like

    |0 0 x | y|
    so in this case x =y, this will be different for yours
