    another Linear Algebra problem

    U is the subspace of P(F) consisting of all polys in the form
    p(z)= a(z)^2 + b(z)^5. a,b are in F.
    Find a subspace W of P(F) s.t. P(F)= U + (direct sum) W.

    U has a basis of: {<0,0,1,0,0,0>, <0,0,0,0,0,1>}.
    What must the basis look like to complete the space?
